Music Video: Mamma Mia – Akaycentric

Akinola Oshodi popularly known as Akaycentric has raised the bar a little bit higher with his latest music video release titled “Mamma Mia”.

The Afropop artiste who is a graduate of account education from the Lagos State University and hails from epe tedo, Lagos Island, Lagos first made an appearance on the music scene in 2010 with his debut single titled addicted which featured ace rap artiste ice princess Zamani, had several follow ups and then moved on to premiere his debut music video in 2015 to his single titled “parachute”.

His career took a new positive turn when he got signed to MMH records, he then re-branded his artistic personality and changed his name from Akay to Akaycentric. Akaycentric went on to release his first single under his new label titled “After All” which is an high life up tempo song. In a press release he urges his colleagues to make music that are safe and healthy for everyone to listen.

Mamma Mia is his second single under MMH records and what makes this single so unique is the efforts and hard work that was put into creating it.  The single which was written by klem and co-written by Akaycentric himself,  produced by ayzed and mixed by swaps,  the video was shot by Emmanuel fordjour in Hollywood, California and presents a soothing high definition visual for the Afropop tune portrays a young wealthy man reaffirming his love and commitment to his woman.

The cinematography and the beauty of this song has sure set the stake a little bit higher for his fellow upcoming artistes in the industry. It was not long after the release of Mamma Mia he began to gain popularity and trend on major TV stations across the country. Akaycentric promises that 2018 will he a great year for music lovers as he is set to drop several more music and music videos later in the year confirming that all his music release will be of equal quality as quality music is what he wishes to be known for.
